After the lesson the student will then have a week to go home and practice/play the new concept.

Practicing is often thought of as something negative. Replace the word practice with playing or singing. Play the piano or sing regularly to get better at doing them.
Why should I consider group piano? Group piano is a great place to start learning piano or to enhance a more advanced students rhythm, music knowledge and sight reading. The group works together to learn piano concepts, theory concepts, play games, learn concepts and clap rhythms together. Duets, trios and ensembles are a great way to teach rhythm and gives a hands on musical experience to new students.
